Some History…
Nashville International Airport has quite a history! Originally known as Berry Field when it opened back in 1937, this airport started out as a joint military and commercial hub. Fast forward to 1988, and it got its current name – now it’s the busiest airport in Tennessee! From major commercial airlines to cargo carriers, Nashville Airport connects you to destinations across the U.S. and even worldwide hotspots like London and Cancún. It’s also a hub for Southwest and Allegiant, while still housing military units like the 118th Wing and the 1/230th Air Cavalry Squadron of the Tennessee Army National Guard.

DominicDesignTeam’s recreation of Nashville International Airport for MSFS brings the airport to life with an ultra-realistic, up-to-date representation reflecting its real-world upgrades. This stunning scenery is packed with PBR textures, detailed custom modelling, and dynamic animations that make every detail pop. From moving jetways to passengers inside the fully-modeled terminal interior, and tons of objects scattered around the airport, you’ll feel like you’re right there in Nashville!
